Bayas del Sur stood out in its recent participation in Chile’s largest gastronomic fair. Between September 26 and 28, Espacio Food and Service took place, an event that brings together the main players in the food and service industry of our country. On this occasion, Bayas del Sur had a privileged space to highlight its commitment to quality and sustainability in berry production, as well as to showcase the diversity of our products and their applications in various sectors of the industry in Chile and abroad.
During its participation in Espacio Food and Service, Bayas del Sur presented its high-quality products in both freeze-dried powder and concentrated juice formats, including maqui, raspberry, elderberry, blackberry, blueberry, strawberry, calafate, and cranberry. What truly stood out was the company’s focus on sustainability and openness to new formats aimed at serving SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises). In this regard, Bayas del Sur also emphasized its commitment to the environment by announcing the implementation of solar panels to invest in renewable energy use, a project that is currently underway at our central plant located in the Los Lagos region.
Bayas del Sur’s successful participation in Espacio Food and Service not only attracted the attention of attendees but also resulted in new strategic alliances and business opportunities. The company had the opportunity to engage in discussions with national and international distributors interested in our products, with our maqui, in particular, being highly celebrated.
Bayas del Sur’s successful participation in Espacio Food and Service marks a milestone in its trajectory and consolidates its position as a benchmark in the production of high-quality and sustainable berries in South America. The company is gearing up for a promising future, focused on continuous innovation, expanding its presence in the domestic and international markets, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices that benefit both consumers and the environment.
